Skirt pattern

There have been a few of you, and a few in my ward, that wondered where I got the pattern for these skirts.

The pattern is handmade. I got the idea from my sister, who told me over the phone how to do it. It's so simple, or else I wouldn't be able to do it. So, I'm in the process of making a pdf version of instructions on how to make these skirts.

Again, it's so easy. I'll have it ready in a few days, and then I'll give a link so you can check it out.

Thanks for the compliments! It was really fun making these skirts. It might have to be a yearly tradition for me...

It's that time of year...

For skirts! And this year, I got to make Laney some matching ones. Cute, huh?

This is my favorite. I ran out of material for them to be the same direction, and I think I like Laney's better, with the horizontal stripes. What do you think?

You can't really tell, but there are yellow polkadots on the shirt.
Another favorite. Very... 'little girl.'
Again, there are pink polkadots on the shirt.

There are red dots in the middle of the white flowers on the shirt.
The idea was to make interchangeable skirts for the polkadot shirts, so that's why more of the skirts are plain this year. But I kinda don't like it as much. Next year I think I'll do more plain shirts and patterned skirts. They're much more fun.

Who said scriptures are outdated?

I found this in my daily studying this morning, and I thought I'd share with you. It's a smiley face icon! In the scriptures!

This is copied and pasted from Hebrews 12:21
"And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)"

Haha. I thought that was so funny. Looks like Paul had some experience texting. :)

Here it is in the original context if you're interested...
