OCDness

This...

makes me happy. I LOVE folding laundry. If you know me, you know that I have some OCD tendencies, and folding laundry puts me in my happy place. Everything has a nice little spot, all folded and nice, with the rest of the outfit. I just sit, watch a Hallmark movie (yes, I'm cheesy like that, but Hallmark movies have no language and no sex), and fold laundry. Lexi's go on one side, Laney's on the other side. Ah, it makes me want to do my own laundry right now just so I can fold it. :) I know, I'm weird. I wonder if I could charge for my services and fold other people's laundry... :) However, I hate unloading the dishwasher. That is strictly a Brandon job. What's your favorite and least favorite household chore?

  1. I'd pay you to fold my laundry...Although I don't have anything pink to fold. Would that throw you off? I love to vacuum, and hate to mop.

  2. Kook! I hate to scrub bathrooms but any other housework is ok. Can't say that I love any of it. I think it's too mundane and uncreative. I like sewing or cooking better. But that does remind me, there is laundry waiting to be folded. . .

  3. u should SOOO start a laundry folding business-- you'd be makin LOTs of money. :) I HATE the kitchen-- dishes, blah blah blah. I think my most fav is probably vacuuming- cuz I use special stuff to make my house smell yummy and vacuum it up. haha!!

  4. My favorite is ironing my clothes, and my sewing projects, it soothes me. I hate all other chores, house cleaning is not my forte.

  5. I don't know that I have a favorite chore. I certainly feel a sense of accomplishment when the dishes are done. I hate scrubbing the tub.

  6. I love folding laundry, vacuuming and dusting. :) I would be totally fine to leave the dishes for Matthew (that never makes me sad and I don't feel like I am missing out. haha). We switch off with household things though.:) HEY ... have you ever heard of the Clearplay DVD player? We have one and LOVE IT!!! We have used it for a while and it edits all your movies. It doesn't change the DVD but you use their software and therefore it edits the movie. :) That combined with Netflix and no cable makes it a sweet combo. :) Anyway, if you are curious about the Clearplay DVD let me know. :) It's been great to have cute/fun movies and not worry about ANYTHING distasteful. :)

  7. If you do want some of a TV version... you can also click here and stream from your computer and just use a special cord for your TV and hook it up. :)

The only reason I say this.... all other places we lived, the cable came in a combo pack with internet but now where we live we would pay for cable separately and it wasn't worth it to us because we don't really watch it enough. :) I think you can streamline BYU games during the season and FOX NEWS by Justintv. HMMM... I also really liked Foodnetwork too. haha :) We are still looking into it as well. :) Just random info that you probably already know... but Holly just wanted to share. haha :) Have a great night!

By the way, for some TV feel free to check out the link above for LIVE TV. You can just hook up your computer to your TV to see it as well. :) NEWS channels.... etc... :) Then again... this may not be new info for you. :)

  10. That's hilarious because it is so me! If you remember I even went through baby clothes and re folded them in their bins before I was pregnant. I also HATE doing the dishwasher. Cade pretty much does it. Thankfully he does it automatically so without talking about it we just do our thing.
